Vietnam Veterans of America

Chapter 137 Dallas

Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 137 in Dallas, VVA137 for short, is the first and largest chapter in the State of Texas. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary in 2014 and we’re proud that over 85% of donations to our organization go directly to the vets we are trying to help.

From the President

Fellow VVA members ...

I want to take the opportunity to thank a number of our Texas Chapters who, through the help of Jim Boyd, have come along side and contributed to our Chapter efforts, and help relieve the burdens of the unexpected changes in our finances and pressures to keep our VSO program going ...

Thanks to the help of these Texas Chapters, we have so far succeeded to keep our doors open, at a new location, in a demographic that is in dire need of our services.  Thank you brothers:

Chapter 262 Beaumont
Chapter 366 San Antonio
Chapter 574 El Paso
Chapter 685 Galveston
Chapter 844 El Paso
Chapter 1029 Yorktown

We still ask our members to consider enrolling in a gifting program of a monthly contribution of $18 a month to defray our new administrative costs (rent, phones, internet, fax, and such).  A heart felt thank you to those of you who have already done so - you can use the 'Donate' button - on any page, to enroll for a monthly contribution.

In addition, some of you have stepped up to the plate, and have helped with physical labor, superb ideas, and help in the office. Thank you!

Thank you all for your continued support. We appreciate you!
